Urban Water Management Plan
The City is required to prepare an Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) as per requirements by the California Department of Water Resources.
The Urban Water Management Plan elements comply with the requirements of California Water Code (Section 10610-10656). Urban water suppliers in California serving more than 3,000 customers or providing more than 3,000 acre-feet of water annually must prepare an UWMP to promote water demand management and efficient water use. This UWMP also provides planning information on the reliability and future availability of the City's water supply. The plan is required to be updated every five years. The next update will be in 2025.
