Summer Camp

Our mission is to provide a safe and fun environment. We hope to provide campers with opportunities to develop new friendships and enjoy new experiences over the two weeks with us. 

2020 Summer Camp Information:

  • Session One: July 13th - July 24th    &   Session Two: July 27th - August 7th 
    • One session per participant & ONLY 40 spots available per session
  • Monday - Thursday from 8:00am - 4:30pm 
    • At the Community Center in the Cultural Arts Building, 530 West Main Street, Santa Paula, CA 93060

Registration Information:

  • Registration day is on Saturday, June 27th, 2020
    • Community Center, 530 West Main Street, Santa Paula, CA 93060
    • From 8:00 am - 10:00 am
    • Once camp is full, staff will be taking participant information for a waitlist.
  • $80 registration fee and a $20 material fee for a total of $100
    • No scholarships available. 
  • IMPORTANT: We recommend you fill out the registration packet prior to the registration day to expedite your process and thoroughly understand the COVID-19 modifications. Please see below for the printable packet. 

Brief Overview of Modifications for a Safe and Fun Summer

  • Groups: Ratio of 1 staff members to 8 campers (No rotating of groups or staff members)
  • Cleanliness/Sanitization: In addition, there will be two staff members responsible for sanitizing and cleaning equipment, water refill station, objects, restrooms, and frequently touched surfaces.
  • Activities: All activities will be programmed with social distancing in mind and equipment that is shared will be sanitized after each use. We will be staggering water refills and restroom breaks.
  • Sign-in and Sign-out Procedure for campers & staff:
    • Arrival and pick up times will be staggered to minimize the amount of campers and parents gathering at one time.
    • Verbal screening questionnaires and temperature checks will be performed every morning at check-in.
    • Parent/Guardians MUST wear a face covering while picking up and/or dropping off. 
  • Face Coverings: Campers and Staff will be required to bring a face covering. They will be required to wear them during indoor activities but not outdoor activities.
  • Lunch/Snack: Campers will be required to bring their own lunch and water each day. We will be staggering lunch and snack times.

Staffing                                                                                                                                                                                                              
Staff has completed background checks, are First Aid & CPR certified, Mandated Reporter Training, Concussion Training and participate in additional professional development to ensure that summer camp is a safe and fun experience for your child. In addition, all camp staff will be trained in the following safety actions: Enhanced sanitation practices, physical distancing guidelines and their importance, screening practices, COVID-19 specific exclusion criteria, and proper use, removal, and washing of cloth face coverings.
