Special Event Permits

The Parks and Recreation Department handles special event permits.                                                                                                       Below please find our application and checklist

Submit completed application to Recreational Supervisor, Abel Duque via email aduque@spcity.org or visit our office at 530 W. Main Street. For more information call (805) 933-4226 ext.353. Please submit at least 30 prior to requested event date.

City Special Event Sponsorship Program

The City also offers a Special Event Sponsorship Program for the purpose of supporting local festivals, parades and special events. Please review the Program Details and Request Form below for more information:

Please note special event sponsorship requests must be submitted a minimum of 45 days before the event date, but no more than six months in advance. If you have questions, please contact the Parks & Recreation Department at 805-933-4226 ext. 353.
