Santa Paula, CA – The City of Santa Paula is currently accepting applications from those interested in becoming the Harding Park Caretaker. The caretaker program has been inactive for the past few years and the City is very interested in reestablishing the program in its efforts to revitalize Harding Park.
“We are excited to get a caretaker back on property. We are looking for someone who has a passion for Santa Paula and a heart for service” said Greg Barnes, Parks & Recreation Director.
In exchange for some weekly duties, the caretaker will be allowed to live in the house on the property. Some examples of the caretaker’s responsibilities and duties will include some light maintenance, trash & weed abatement, securing the property in the evening and other duties as needed. The average weekly time commitment will average around 20 hours per week.
